It’s a one egg show~ I always disliked group projects…Everything is done by me alone.
I don’t do well with long series, so I prefer to translate things that are up to ~100 chapters. Everything is a work in progress until it’s labeled final draft. The translations are basically done. It’s just final edits that I haven’t gotten around to yet. But I’m pretty sure people want to just read it even with a few mistakes here and there, so I just post them anyways.
Too many series end up dropped due to translator circumstances. It is understandable. But when I become so invested with the stories they translate, it kills me when I find out they stop. So I’m prioritizing officially dropped series before I take up any brand new ones that haven’t been put up on Novel Updates.
- My background in languages:
- English – Fluent Speech/Reading/Writing, born and raised with Standard American English
- Warning: I’m more of a ‘it sounds good when I read it out loud’ and not that into the technicality of English.
- Mandarin – Spoken and Reading, up to Chinese 03
- Teo Chew – Spoken, Intermediate Fluency
- Cantonese – Spoken, Poor
- English – Fluent Speech/Reading/Writing, born and raised with Standard American English
- I could probably start a brand new series if it’s below 20 chapters.
- I also prefer fairly modern settings.
- History was also my worst subject 😦
- I’m not good with Chinese slang (historical, some modern one), puns, and cultivation.
- These also require a higher understanding of Mandarin….something I don’t have yet.
Happy reading everyone.
